Addie M. Miller is wishing Happy Indigenous Peoples Day. LA Times Newspaper reports story of why Los Angeles is right to rename Columbus day. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-indigenous-peoples-day-20171003-story.html .
Addie M. Miller is a descendant of Native America Indians ‘Choctaw tribe’ and states it makes me proud that we are not overlooked and taken for granted!
Columbus Day is no more in the nation’s second-largest city in nation second largest city. The Los Angeles City Council voted 14-1 on Wednesday to officially mark the second Monday in October as Indigenous Peoples Day on the city’s calendar — a day to commemorate “indigenous, aboriginal and native people.”
“Removing Columbus Day and replacing it with Indigenous Peoples Day is the appropriate action for this city to take,” O’Farrell wrote. “We must send a signal to Washington D.C. that there is no better day to honor our original inhabitants while highlighting the absurdity of celebrating a historical figure responsible for such profound suffering, still felt by generations of Indigenous People everywhere. This is more than symbolic. It is spiritually and morally necessary.”

Now the City of Los Angeles is filthy, polluted, massive crack sidewalks, pot holes throughout the city of Los Angeles “until if you drive a vehicle you may have to get the shock on your vehicle repair regularly”, cover up of contaminated soil with clean soil then the contaminated soil comes back after a rain.
Before Tom Bradley became the 38th MAYOR of the City of Los Angeles, he was a Police Officer for the Los Angeles Police Department and he was known for Walking and strolling through the streets of Los Angeles
During his service as a Police Officer he personally seen the turmoil and what the City was in need of. That’s when he decided to become Mayor and the Chief Executive Officer of Los Angeles and make Los Angeles a WORLD Class City.
In my opinion Tom Bradley was not a lavish person dressing in a suit a tie everyday and driving stylish automobiles.
Tom Bradley was a grass root public servant and seen what the City of Los Angeles needed. Maybe that is why the Airport is name after him. Police officers sees all and knows the people in the City. Tom Bradley patroled the City of Los Angeles walking when he was a Police Officer for the LAPD!!

In my opinion some of our local elected officials worked hand in hand with religious ministers to obtain the votes from the Elders “to get elected” then the local officials are the first to ABUSE the elders.
Elders are the number 1 voting block in the local communities, cities, counties and states. Yet are abused by these greedy money and power grabbing poverty pimps and GIGOLOS.
